Four print-ready files

All four are set up to survive a nonprofit copier. The QR codes were tested down to photocopy resolution, and every piece still reads correctly in black and white.

  • 8.5 x 11 in · 1 page · PDF

    Wall flyer

The full one-page explainer with a large QR code. Built to be read from across a room and to stay legible after a black-and-white photocopy.

How to print it: Print at 100%, no scaling. Post it on a bulletin board, in a break room, at a registration table, or at a resource fair. The footer carries two phone numbers: one for help with the app, one for volunteering, donations, and disaster support.

  • 3.5 x 2 in · 2 pages · PDF

    Business card, front and back

Trim-size artwork for a commercial print shop. Page one is the front, page two is the back.

How to print it: Send both pages to a printer as a standard double-sided business card. Use this one if you are ordering a box professionally.

  • 8.5 x 11 in · 10 cards per sheet · PDF

    Card sheet, fronts

Ten identical card fronts laid out on a letter sheet with cut marks in the margins.

How to print it: Print at 100%, no scaling, then cut along the tick marks with a paper cutter. This is the no-budget option: any office printer will do.

    Card sheet, backs

The matching backs for the sheet above.

How to print it: Run the fronts sheet, then feed it back through for the backs. All ten cards are identical, so it does not matter which way your printer flips the page.

Printing note: set your printer to 100% or Actual Size. If you let it “fit to page” the QR code still works, but the card sheets will no longer line up with the cut marks.

What the app does

One tap. Your people know where you are.

BuddySOS is a free phone app for iPhone and Android. One tap sends an alert and your live location to everyone in your group at the same time, and sends your emergency contacts a text with your location even if they never installed anything.

Volunteers and response teams

A service event spreads staff across a large site with no shared radio channel. One tap reaches the whole group at once instead of calling people one at a time.

Stroke survivors and caregivers

One button, one hand, no talking required. The alert carries your location, so nobody has to explain where they are.

People who live alone

Emergency contacts get a text with your location even if they never installed the app, which matters when the people who check on you are not app users.

Families at large events

A safe zone drawn around a campsite, a venue, or a fairground notifies the group when someone arrives or leaves it.

In an emergency, call 911 first

BuddySOS is not a medical alert device. It does not detect strokes, falls, or any medical event, and it does not contact 911 for you. It shares your location with people you choose. The safety features are free; an optional upgrade removes ads.

Kingbird Solutions

What we did here

Kingbird Solutions is a US-led software and AI shop in Phoenix. We designed and produced the materials on this page, and we host them here so any group can reprint them without asking anyone for a file.

The design brief was accessibility first: large type, short lines, high contrast, and a QR code that still scans after the page has been photocopied more than once.

AI for Disaster Response

We are putting together a recurring one-hour working session for nonprofits, response units, and community groups. Half of each session is a plain-language introduction to what these tools actually are. The other half is one small project a volunteer organization can finish on its own, with the steps written down.

Sessions will be recorded and posted so anyone who missed one can watch it later. If there is a problem you want covered, tell us and we will build a session around it.
