New merchants, found the week they file.
Merchant Signal is a lead tool we built and run for payment and merchant services reps. It reads public business filings every week and turns them into a scored, explained call list for the ZIPs a rep actually works.

The problem
A business needs a way to take payments the day it opens. The rep who reaches the owner first usually wins the account, and the purchased lists most reps work are months old and shared with everyone else.
The signal already exists in public records. New business licenses, state registrations and pending liquor and food licenses show who is opening, but they are scattered across hundreds of city, county and state portals in different formats, and none of them say which businesses are worth a call.
What we built
Scheduled jobs pull new licenses and registrations from city, county and state open-data feeds, clean them and drop shell companies and registered-agent addresses.
Each business is scored on how new it is, whether its vertical fits a card-present merchant, and a free check of whether it already takes cards.
Reps start with one free ZIP, pay for the ZIPs they work, or lock a ZIP so no other rep can subscribe to it.
Stripe checkout, plan changes with proration, and a customer portal, so accounts run without a sales call.
In markets without phone numbers in the filing, reps can connect their own Apollo or Hunter key to add contacts.
The site states exactly which markets include phone numbers and that reps own their DNC and TCPA compliance.
How it works
Sign up free and choose one ZIP you work. No card.
The newest merchants in that ZIP appear sorted best-first, with the score and why-now.
In verified markets the business phone number is on the lead. Elsewhere, add your own contact.
Add ZIPs as you need them, or lock a ZIP to keep it to yourself.
Live and taking paid subscribers, with coverage growing as more public data comes online.
